Chinese culture transcends time and space, rich in eternal charm, and is a precious treasure for all humanity. To better inherit and carry forward the concepts and spirit of Chinese culture, we have created a world-oriented cultural communication project - "Poetry Translates China".
The project uses Chinese culture as a carrier, traversing ancient and modern times, spanning East and West, promoting multicultural integration, aiming to help Chinese youth go global, tell China's stories well in foreign languages, and spread China's voice.
"Poetry Translates China" combines the Ministry of Education's Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition), rooted in Chinese traditional culture and centered on idiom content, building a systematic interdisciplinary teaching enhancement system.
Cultivate school teachers through teacher training systems and provide activity support, while inviting foreign teachers interested in Chinese culture to participate in classroom interactions, providing authentic foreign language environments for teachers and students.
After one semester of learning, students use their acquired knowledge to create short videos, with works themed around "Chinese Idioms + Idiom Stories + Foreign Cultural Comparison", telling China's stories well in foreign languages.
